I don't get to see my boyfriend this weekend which sucks, especially since I'm in something of a state, mentally.

I think i'm going to try and see The Hobbit again this week because of the aforementioned mental state and I need to admire Kili the Ridiculously Attractive Dwarf some more.

The good: my shrink is amazing, and I will be getting LASIK within a month, and the docs promised to only prescribe me drugs that are available in generic form. And I do yoga. And I like my three jobs. And my every monthly premium payment for my individual health insurance is squared away.

The bad: I wish I could have a mutual attraction with someone. And I need more money.

The good: I know what to name what I want - mutual attraction.

The ugly: I still have insecurities about being desirable. A fuckton of baggage on that front.

Also, I wish the idea that I might desire sex even when I'm not showing skin weren't a foreign concept. A short skirt isn't necessarily a signal of sexual interest. Likewise, covering skin doesn't mean that sexual interest isn't present.

Uh, yeah, that's about it.

This year is not starting out terribly well. We can't replace the water pump, I just got my paycheck with the new taxes in effect (can we say OUCH?), one of my co-workers had to quit, so now we're understaffed in my room (and it's a madhouse with all the little boys. Seriously, the crap they get into...), and now my best friend's purse was stolen, and she ended up in a car wreck yesterday.

Life can get better at any point now....

i am so, so tired of winter. and raiding. and work.

otoh, i am brainstorming a short story about a glam-rock seahorse with an eternal party dome under the sea, so things aren't all bad
